Probe 2018: A year in review - A yule blog, not a yule log

As the holiday season and end of the year is upon us, here at Probe we reflect on 2018 as being an exciting 12 months. In this blog, we look back on the work that has shaped, evolved or challenged our marketing offering over the year.

One of the major projects we worked on this year involved our new brand refresh and web modernisation. Whilst reading this blog you are no doubt experiencing all the elements, messages and visuals that define our new brand offering.

Many are familiar with our underpinning values and we hope those who have worked with us over the year have experienced them too!

Our Engineering Momentum strapline encapsulates everything we do to provide the equipment that keeps things moving, optimising asset productivity and performance – ensuring that your projects meet their milestones and deadlines.

Our full inbound marketing model and strategy has driven improvements through our social channels and positive reactions have improved our engagement with the industry and beyond.

This is all in line with wider scopes of work for our product and service offerings that have been re-positioned and aligned to Acteon’s wider portfolio, who are committed to shape and lead an evolving global subsea services market for the benefit of its clients. Find out what it means for Probe to be part of the Acteon Group

The year saw several key projects for Probe within our core offering, and the expertise offered to the client is borne out in a series of case studies, with some great quotes too…

“As this was our first time producing a fully clad filter system it was key that we used a supply chain partner who had a long-standing reputation in this area. Probe was able to deliver a foolproof solution which was fully compliant to the quality standards we required.”

“We were extremely impressed with Probe’s design and manufacturing processes throughout this project. The knowledge and expertise the team provided ensured we were able to achieve the right cost-effective an innovative wellhead solution for our client.”

“The manufacturing service area from Probe has grown significantly over the time we have worked with them. The Probe team are an essential supply chain partner to both our onshore and offshore oilfield operations and the cost reductions and time-saving solutions always allow operations to run safely and successfully.”

There are three great project case studies examples in our downloadable Manufacture Requirements Case Study Pack, covering the following topics:

  • Fully clad components for HP filter system
  • Cost-effective innovative cladded spool component
  • A trusted supply chain partner for over 20 years
We also have also worked on other projects across our two other areas of service expertise, which are: Manufacture, Assembly and Test, and Refurbs and Upgrades.
